DARK. This four letter word best describes the evil of human sex trafficking.

Some believe the battered bodies, minds, and hearts of its victims are beyond hope.

But darkness cannot hide from light. Light ALWAYS overcomes darkness.

Over one hundred and fifty years ago, the brave abolitionists of the Underground Railroad would leave a light lit in their window to signal safe refuge to those fleeing slavery.

We are doing the same. As victims around the world are fleeing the destruction imposed on their hearts, mind and bodies, Five-Fifteen is lighting a lamp of hope and healing through our steadfast prayers.

The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much! (James 5:16)

Our prayers aren't powerful because we pray them but because they call upon our mighty God, creator of the universe, redeemer of man, and healer of the broken.

"Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house."
~Matthew 5:15

"We're going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don't think I'm going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I'm putting you on a light stand—shine!"
~The Message
